The so-called "Japanese" binding is a binding practiced in the Far East. It is one of the simplest bindings to make and has a particularity, it is without glue unlike Western bindings. The leaves are tied only by a thread and a needle through four or six holes. Apparently, the seam is an integral part of the cover and allows all the fantasies.

It is therefore possible to create an original pattern or decoration. Select yourself the number of holes: 2, 4 or 6 as well as the type and color of the thread. Do not be fooled by its artisanal side, it is very solid!
